Schedule: 24 hours per week, No on-call/after-hours responsibilities

Compensation: $28-$29 per hour (Compensation commensurate with experience and may not be reflected in this posting)

Licenses / Certifications

Required:

Boilers, plus any licenses necessary for the property(s) worked at.

• Provide skilled building maintenance, including repairs to sinks, windows, floors, and other building parts.
• Maintain grounds as assigned, including trash pickup, shoveling, sweeping curb/dumpster area, and landscape beds.
• Prepare vacant units for occupancy, including cleaning responsibilities.
• Install, repair (including soldering), and maintain plumbing, heating, and air conditioning fixtures, perform metal fabrication and welding.
• Install and repair major and minor appliances (e.g., washer, dryer, refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher).
• Troubleshoot maintenance issues, diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and adjust to ensure resolution.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs as needed.
• Complete minor work orders such as snake toilets/drains, repair/replace leaking faucets, remove/replace caulking, replace components of toilets, adjust/replace door closures, and replace locks, deadbolts, and passage locks.
• Demonstrate courteous and efficient customer service at all times.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance / property management.
• Experience with Section 8 rentals and maintenance (2 years).
• Experience in general maintenance (4 years).
