Position SummaryThe Swiss/Lathe CNC Machinist operates CNC machines to support the manufacture of components and devices for the medical device industry.
First Shift: Monday‑Thursday 6:00 am – 4:00 pm.
Sign‑On Bonus: $1,000 – $5,000 depending on experience.
Responsibilities- Operate CNC Swiss/Lathe machines.
- Manufacture parts to specification.
- Use inspection equipment to inspect parts.
- Read blueprints and apply geometric tolerancing.
- Maintain high quality standards.
- Collect and analyze SPC data to maintain process control.
- Operator experience with Swiss or Lathe CNC machines.
- Strong math background (machine/shop math).
- Knowledge of GD&T and ability to read/interpret blueprints.
- Experience using a microscope and measurement equipment (micrometer, caliper, pressure micrometer).
- Machining experience with medical components, devices, or instruments.
- Experience with tight tolerances.
- Programming and setup of Swiss CNC machines.
- Troubleshooting Swiss CNC machines.
USD $21.20 – $36.49 per hour (base hourly rate or annual salary based on skills, experience, and market conditions).
