Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Industrial Maintenance
This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment and facility systems to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance. Ideal candidates would have training in hydraulics, basic electrical, and pneumatic systems, and a strong commitment to safety and quality.
ResponsibilitiesFix equipment fast to reduce downtime
- Troubleshoot machine problems using electrical testers, blueprints and schematics
Maintain mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
- Self directed completion of Maintenance requisitions
Perform preventive maintenance to keep production smooth
Support a safe, high‑performance environment
Hands‑on maintenance experience
Skills in hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electrical - formal training
Reliability, safety focus, and a strong work ethic
- Special boilers license at a minimum.
- Must pass a Comprehensive Maintenance Aptitude Test with a passing score of 75% or better.
This is a Union position with a posted wage of $32.44/hr the selected candidate will enjoy a comprehensive benefit package including medical, dental, vision, prescription drug, wellness programs, STD, life insurance, 401(k) and pension. Green Bay Packaging benefits may vary by position or division.
