The Quality, Safety & Assembly Technician is responsible for supporting quality assurance, safety compliance, and assembly activities related to water treatment and filtration equipment. This hands-on role involves performing inspections, documenting quality standards, conducting safety initiatives, and assisting with the assembly and preparation of equipment for testing and shipment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and committed to maintaining high standards of quality and workplace safety.

- Perform dimensional inspections of spools, tanks, filter housings, pumps, and other equipment against engineering drawings and specifications;
- Conduct in-house water testing of piping systems and skid assemblies;
- Visually inspect welds and verify dimensions of stainless steel, PVC, and HDPE piping systems;
- Travel to subcontractor fabrication facilities to inspect weld quality and verify frame dimensions against approved drawings;
- Measure and verify coating thickness on fabricated frames upon receipt;
- Perform and document quality inspections throughout the assembly of water treatment skids;
- Conduct final inspections of completed skids prior to testing and shipping;
- Lead weekly safety meetings and conduct monthly safety inspections;
- Complete assigned safety-related tasks and proactively identify and address workplace hazards;
- Assemble components and equipment used in water filtration and treatment systems;
- Prepare completed skids for shipment, including shrink-wrapping and packaging activities;
- Support general shop operations and other duties as required;
- Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs;
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, due to occasional daily traveling;
- Valid passport is considered an asset;
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings;
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality;
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand and power tools;
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a manufacturing environment.
