Fabrication Operator Lead - 2nd Shift

As a Fabrication Team Lead on the 2nd shift, you will ensure smooth production flow in our Cooling Fabrication department. • Provide day‑to‑day operational support, mentoring, and on‑the‑job training to team members.
• Partner with the Production Supervisor and support teams to resolve issues and meet department goals for safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Maintain production flow by filling in on the line as needed during PTO, breaks, and absences.
• Enforce company, department, and safety policies with strict adherence.
• Coordinate and complete employee training to ensure standard work and quality compliance.
• Operate equipment within the assigned area, including CRTs and forklifts.
• Lead and engage in Lean, Kaizen, and continuous improvement efforts to uncover waste and promote 5S and Lean methods.
• Engage, recognize, and motivate employees while promoting a strong safety culture.

• 3–5 years of experience in production/manufacturing, with established proficiency in promoting Lean manufacturing and sustained improvement.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, JD Edwards, and internet‑based systems.
• Strong knowledge of assigned production processes and effective communication, mentoring, and problem‑solving skills.
• The ability to meet the physical and environmental demands of a manufacturing position, including strong attendance, reliability, and adaptability in a changing environment.

Compensation Range: $23.90 – $44.40 Per Hour. Depending on the position offered, the employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
