Electrical Machine Builder
The Electrical Machine Builder will interpret blueprints and schematics to build and assemble complex machinery for the food industry. This role involves electro-mechanical assembly, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, as well as mechanical assembly, pipe fitting, and occasional welding. The position requires hands-on work with power tools and hand tools to construct large equipment to precise specifications.
Responsibilities
- Read, interpret, and work from detailed blueprints and electrical schematics to build various machines for the food industry.
- Perform electro-mechanical assembly, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical components, ensuring proper fit, function, and safety.
- Carry out mechanical assembly tasks on large equipment, including mounting, aligning, and securing parts and subassemblies.
- Complete pipe fitting work as required for machine builds, ensuring proper routing, connections, and sealing.
- Use power tools and hand tools safely and effectively to cut, drill, fasten, and assemble components.
- Assist with welding tasks when needed to support machine construction and structural integrity.
- Collaborate with team members across different areas of the shop to support production needs and resolve assembly issues.
- Inspect completed assemblies for quality, accuracy, and compliance with engineering specifications.
- Troubleshoot assembly problems and make adjustments or repairs to ensure machines operate correctly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in a fast-paced shop environment.

This is a permanent position based out of Anoka, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
