CNC Lathe Operator
Join our team in Ramsey, MN, a vibrant community known for its excellent quality of life, abundant parks, recreational opportunities, and a welcoming atmosphere. We have an immediate need for a CNC Lathe Operator for the night shift. If you have the experience and can work nights, this opportunity might be perfect for you. The position involves working with our Mori Seki machines with a DMG Mori Control, specifically the EROline Version.
We are seeking someone familiar with this or comparable systems and/or willing to learn.
- Plan, set up, and perform a wide variety of CNC machining operations using various machine tools, jigs, and fixtures.
- Operate CNC Lathes proficiently, including program, tool, and work setup.
- Load programs and edit offsets and code to produce parts within specification.
- Demonstrate advanced skills in manually programming and editing coded programs on machine controllers or from a desktop computer.
- Operate manual machining centers when required.
- Utilize machine shop hand equipment effectively.
- Use various measuring equipment, such as micrometers, calipers, and CMM.
- Read, understand, and machine CAD drawings proficiently.
- Measure and inspect parts as needed or required.
- Perform and document process inspections.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 3-5 years of CNC lathe experience is required.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Efficient time management skills.
- Experience with Fanuc controls; live tooling experience is preferred.
- Computer literacy in Mastercam is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently.
This position involves working in a manufacturing-type environment. It requires moderately heavy work, including the occasional lifting of objects weighing 50 pounds or less. The incumbent may be required to operate a variety of industrial machining tools.
Shift DetailsNight Shift - 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM
CompensationPay Range: $30 - $42/hr depending on experience.
