Upholstery Specialist
Join us as we empower the world to work out, creating healthier lives together. Prepare and install upholstery materials, including wood, foam and material. Layout and cut materials; operate cutting machine Stage materials for jobs per work order Use oven to prepare vinyl prior to stapling Staple vinyl to pad using staple gun Assemble pieces following established procedures; attach backing and punch holes Batch finished pads by work order and place in appropriate area Box pads as needed Make labels using computer and label maker Check work for quality Operate vinyl picker and pallet jack Ability to operate staple gun, heat gun, vinyl cutter and hand tools (razor, wire cutter, staple remover) Ability to operate computer in order to run label maker Ability to effectively communicate in English (read and understand) Lift up to 5 lbs frequently, 20 lbs occasionally and 40 lbs rarely Walk, stand, bend, twist/turn, reach overhead and grasp tools as necessary Operate vinyl picker and pallet jack All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, and protected veteran status.
Your base wage will be between $20.00 - $22.75 per hour and includes eligibility for overtime. The actual wage offer will be based on qualifications, experience, location, and other relevant factors. You'll have the opportunity to participate in the Production Bonus Plan, which provides opportunities to earn additional compensation based on performance metrics. Bonus eligibility is subject to meeting certain production goals and other criteria as outlined.
This position is eligible for a $2.00 per hour shift differential for hours worked on 2nd shift, in addition to the base hourly wage.
