Temperature Specialists, Inc. seeks a Sensor Case Fabricator to build precision housings for custom temperature sensors used in industrial and commercial applications. In this hands-on role, you will cut, form, and assemble metal and plastic cases, read blueprints, perform accurate measurements, and support light soldering or wiring. You'll work closely with engineers and production staff to meet exacting quality standards, solve build issues, and support on-time delivery.

This on-site position is ideal for detail-oriented fabricators who value craftsmanship, reliability, and stable, growth-oriented manufacturing work.

Responsibilities

  • Fabricate and assemble metal and plastic cases for temperature sensors to print and work instructions.
  • Operate basic fabrication equipment (shears, presses, drills) and use hand tools safely.
  • Measure, deburr, and finish parts to tight tolerances and quality standards.
  • Perform basic soldering or wiring related to sensor case terminations as needed.
  • Inspect components, record measurements, and complete required production documentation.
  • Collaborate with engineers and production staff to resolve fit or manufacturability issues.

  • Support continuous improvement, suggesting tooling or process enhancements.
  • Handle materials, label parts, and prepare assemblies for downstream operations.
  • Meet daily production targets while maintaining precision and consistency.
