About the OpportunityThis is a career-growth opportunity for a Quality Engineer who wants ownership, visibility, and the chance to influence quality systems from design through delivery in a complex, engineered manufacturing environment. You will lead quality initiatives across manufacturing, suppliers, and customer-facing processes. This role ensures products consistently meet internal standards and customer expectations while driving measurable improvements in quality performance.
Key Responsibilities- Own end-to-end product quality from initial quote through final customer acceptance
- Develop, maintain, and improve quality control processes to reduce defects and rework
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions using audits, field data, and internal reports
- Partner with suppliers to ensure material and component quality standards are met
- Analyze test data and manufacturing results to identify trends and systemic issues
- Collaborate closely with Production, Manufacturing Engineering, Design Engineering, and Supply Chain teams
- Support customer quality reviews and on-site issue resolution as needed
- Evaluate and audit manufacturing processes to ensure quality assurance compliance
- Develop and implement quality-related training and documentation
- Bachelor’s degree and/or Quality certification (CQE, CQT, or similar)
- 3+ years of experience in Quality Engineering or Manufacturing Quality
- Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
- Fundamental understanding of ISO-based quality systems
- Detail-oriented problem solver with strong analytical skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong communicator who can influence across teams and levels
- Data-driven mindset with experience interpreting test and quality metrics
- Customer-focused approach to quality and continuous improvement
