Quality Specialist

Our client, a leading organization in the food manufacturing industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Specialist to join their team. As a Quality Specialist, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, strong collaboration skills, and a proactive approach to quality management, which will align successfully in the organization.

** Pay Range:**  $70,000 - $85,000 annually

** Shift:
** 8:00AM - 4:30PM;
Monday - Friday

** What's the Job?*
* + Design, implement, and coordinate product performance testing within various conditions to evaluate quality and safety of edible cake décor.

+ Maintain, review, and approve consumable product specifications and labels, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality Assurance, R&D, Product Management, Procurement, and Sales to meet internal quality benchmarks and customer expectations.

+ Document and analyze test data, providing feedback on product performance and areas for improvement, and prepare detailed reports for internal stakeholders.

+ Work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure product quality, consistency, and regulatory compliance.

** What's Needed?*
* + Bachelor's degree in quality assurance or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

+ Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality control, product testing, or quality assurance (or 7 years in lieu of a degree).

+

Experience with SQF and HACCP standards; GFSI knowledge preferred.

+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel).

+ Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
