Quality Inspector Job Description
The Quality Inspector will be responsible for performing in-process inspections of sheet metal parts. This role requires inspecting welds, punched holes, angles, and bend allowances, and comparing parts to blueprints to ensure they meet specifications. Accurate documentation of inspection findings is essential.
Responsibilities- Conduct in-process inspections of sheet metal parts.
- Inspect welds, punched holes, angles, and bend allowances.
- Compare parts to blueprints to ensure they meet specifications.
- Document inspection findings accurately.
- Experience with calipers, micrometers, and blueprint reading.
- Quality inspection within a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with sheet metal inspection, including welds, bends, and holes.
Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of inspection experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Ability to stand for 10-hour shifts.
- Sheet metal inspection experience preferred.

WorkEnvironment
Work in a clean, large-scale facility with three buildings that are not air-conditioned. The environment is smoke-free, with no designated smoking areas available. Employees work in an assembly line and production setting. Mandatory overtime may be required, with advance notice, and Sunday work is voluntary and compensated at double time if preceded by six consecutive workdays. Personal protective equipment, including steel-toed boots, eye and ear protection, is required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Anoka, MN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $34.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
