Position Overview: The Assistant General Manager (AGM) is a growth role designed to develop future leaders to think strategically about the store and the district, and about Caribou as a whole. This role works in partnership with the General Manager to run the store and impact the team and community.
Core Responsibilities- Demonstrates the execution of Team Member and Shift Leader responsibilities with enthusiasm and excellence.
- Develops understanding of the business toward GM-level responsibilities over the course of the year.
- Creates positive connections with guests and teaches the team to do the same.
- Champions an environment that supports goal-surpassing speed through effective deployment, in-the-moment problem solving and team motivation.
- Hones sales results through the connection between speed and service.
- Leads on problem resolution with calm professionalism, emotional maturity, and listening to understand.
- Connects day-to-day behaviors with the end result by developing a broad understanding of the Profit & Loss statement.
- Organizes and improves administrative tasks, linking daily/weekly/monthly tasks to overall business success.
- Responsible for store funds while on shift by enforcing cash-handling policies.
- Places, receives, and verifies orders; conducts inventory; manages waste and dates and rotates inventory when needed.
- Thinks holistically about store success, focusing on current and subsequent shifts and beyond.
- Seeks root causes to create sustainable change.

- Required:
1-3 years of prior restaurant/retail experience with strong customer service commitment. - Ability to work at least one of the following: early mornings, evenings, some holidays and/or weekends.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Preferred:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Has a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- 1 year of supervisory experience.
The physical requirements include hearing, speaking, seeing, bending, reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds, and standing for 4 to 8 hours, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Compensation Range: $16.52 - $27.53 per hour
Starting pay is subject to Local and State Minimum Wage regulations and ranges reflect what the employer reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for such position.
