Salary Range: $60,000.00 - $ Base+Commission/year

As Body Shop Technician, you are responsible for performing repairs in areas aligned with your completed training. You are to model behaviors and a culture for success including integrity, respect, drive, community, fun and pride without ego, with self-confidence, and creativity.

Job Duties and Responsibilities including, but not limited to:
  • Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
  • Measure and adjust vehicle alignment to restore it to factory specifications.
  • Ensure all parts are installed correctly, and operate properly (e.g., doors, windows, electrical).
  • Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts.
  • Communicate with the body shop manager regarding the scope of repairs and progress.
  • Communicate with the body shop manager immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.
  • Reports machinery defects or malfunctions to the body shop manager.
  • Ensures that customers’ cars are kept clean. Notifies the body shop manager immediately of anything that has happened to change the appearance or condition of the vehicle.
  • Keeps service bays and shop area clean daily. Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner. Reports any safety issues immediately to management.
  • Participate in process and policy discussions of the company to continually adapt to the changing market.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, rules, regulations (i.e. OSHA Right-to-Know), and standards to maintain the legality and business integrity of the Dealership.
  • Maintain high-quality repairs and minimize comebacks.
  • Understanding of vehicle construction, repair techniques, and industry equipment.
  • Maintain a safe work environment.
  • Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications Requirements
  • Strong motivation and coaching skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage change and detail-oriented processes.
  • Maintain a valid driver's license with a clean record.
  • Comply with all dealership and manufacturer job-related training and requirements.
  • Adhere to the employee handbook policies and procedures.
  • Excellent computer skills, including Excel.
  • Ability to achieve goals with high guest satisfaction ratings.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and ability to influence management on process improvements.
