Tax Manager Public Accounting (On-Site | Southern CT)

Compensation: $,000 base + $15K bonus + profit sharing

On-site, Southern Connecticut (not remote)

Work Hours:

8:30 AM 5:00 PM ( hour lunch); summer Fridays are half-days

The firm works with a variety of complex clients including real estate developers, construction firms, and healthcare professionals and is actively hiring to reduce team burnout and invest in long-term leadership.

• 70% review, 30% preparation of individual, business, and trust returns (1040, 1065, 1120, 1041)
• Lead and manage a small but growing staff (you'll help hire your #2)
• Maintain excellent client relationships with a hands-on approach
• Deliver high-quality tax work without timesheet pressure

• 7+ years of public accounting experience
• CPA or EA preferred (or in process, near completion)
• Experience with CCH, Quick Books, and BNA a plus
• Strong communication, leadership, and review skills
• Base up to $160K + bonus + profit sharing
• Company vehicle
