• Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all tools, stations, and work areas following industry regulations.
• Utilize salon software such as MINDBODY to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process retail sales efficiently.
• Assist clients with product recommendations and upselling retail items like hair care products, styling tools, and nail or eyelash extension services.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, provide personalized advice, and ensure an exceptional customer experience.
• Support store management by helping with front desk duties, mentoring new team members, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

• Valid cosmetology or barbering license in accordance with state regulations.
• Proven experience working in the beauty industry with proficiency in hair styling, coloring, threading, makeup application, and nail care.
• Strong knowledge of salon software systems such as MINDBODY for appointment booking and client management.
• Expertise in sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients and understand their beauty goals.
• Familiarity with retail sales techniques including upselling and retail math to maximize revenue opportunities.
