About the Job:
You are responsible for everything that happens during your shift, including cost controls, inventory control, cash control, customer relations, staffing, paperwork, food management, work to a schedule, maintaining a perfect image, adherence to standards, great customer service, attendance and punctuality, transportation, store cleanliness, marketing, and profitability. You must set the example and follow all policy and procedures 100% of the time and expect the same from your crew.

General job duties for all store team members: operate all equipment; stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk-in cooler; prepare product; receive and process telephone orders; take inventory and complete associated paperwork; clean equipment and facility daily.

Training: orientation and training provided on the job.

Communication skills: ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions; ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders over phone and in person.

Essential functions and skills: ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator); must be able to make correct monetary change; verbal, written, and telephone skills to take and process orders; motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed; ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.

Exposure to varying weather when removing trash and performing outside tasks; in-store temperatures range from 36°F in cooler to 90°F and higher in some work areas; sudden changes in temperature; fumes from food odors; exposure to cornmeal dust; cramped quarters including walk-in cooler; hot surfaces/tools up to 500°F; sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.

Standing:
Most tasks are performed from a standing position.

Walking:
For short distances and short durations on surfaces including ceramic tile, linoleum, and work surfaces at heights between 36" and 48".

Sitting:
Paperwork typically completed at a desk or table.

Lifting:
Bulk product deliveries up to 50 pounds, including cases of ingredients and supplies; lifting from floor and stacking onto shelves up to 72".

Carrying and pushing tasks:
Carrying large cans or sauces; pushing trays on dollies requiring up to 7.5 pounds of force; pulling trays.

Climbing:
Occasionally navigate stairs or climb a ladder for maintenance tasks.
