Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts with day/night variable scheduling

• 36 guaranteed hours per week over 13-week contract

• Every third weekend and every other holiday rotation required

• Must live outside a 50-mile radius from facility

• Float to multiple facilities including Aspirus Merrill, Wausau, Medford, and Stanley

• May be placed on call during low census hours with on-call pay provided

• Call back minimum of 2 hours when called back to facility

• Contract eligible for 36 hours of unbillable low census hours

• Required certifications:
Wisconsin RN license, BLS, ACLS (must have in hand at submission)

• Minimum 2+ years Med Surg experience required

• Highly prefer candidates able to read and interpret telemetry

• Travel experience preferred

• Epic charting experience preferred

• Must demonstrate excellent assessment skills

• Work with 16-bed unit with nurse-to-patient ratios typically 4-5 on days, 5-6 on evenings, and 6-7 on nights

• Any color scrubs permitted

• Associate degree or certificate required, bachelor's degree preferred

• During flu season, unvaccinated travelers must wear masks at all times per facility policy
