Registered Nurse - Medical-Surgical

Antigo, WI

Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | 12-Hour Rotating Day/Night Shifts | 36 Guaranteed Hours Per Week | Every Third Weekend | Every Other Holiday

• Provide direct patient care on a 16-bed Medical-Surgical unit with nurse-to-patient ratios of approximately 4–5 on days, 5–6 on evenings, and 6–7 on nights
• Perform thorough and accurate patient assessments and ongoing monitoring throughout each shift
• Read and interpret telemetry as needed to support patient care
• Participate in on-call rotation during low census periods, with call-back availability as required
• Float to other facilities within the health system as needed
• Adhere to all facility health and safety policies, including applicable infection control and vaccination requirements

• Active Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license, must be in hand at time of submission
• Current BLS certification, must be in hand at time of submission
• Current ACLS certification, must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility

• Ability to read and interpret telemetry monitoring
• Prior travel nursing experience
• Experience with Epic electronic health records system

• Guaranteed 36 hours per week with on-call pay available during low census periods and a 2-hour minimum call-back guarantee
