Become a key player in the court system as a Relief Justice Officer with the Nova Scotia Department of Justice in Antigonish. This position focuses on providing crucial administrative support while engaging with the community.

You are responsible for receiving court payments, maintaining efficient documentation systems, and assisting court officials. Key Responsibilities:

• Address inquiries regarding court matters through calls, faxes, and emails

• Receipt and balance funds received at the court daily

• Process incoming documentation and correspondence efficiently

• Maintain filing systems and retrieve requested documents

• Schedule pending court cases and keep the court calendar updated

Requirements:

• One year of post-secondary education and three years related experience

• Experience in a computerized environment with strong keyboarding skills

• Ability to cope with stressful interactions with the public

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Knowledge of the justice system is beneficial
