Experienced HR Officer

Position: Experienced HR Officer Wanted
Join L'Arche Antigonish as an HR Officer and contribute to a mission-driven community. In this hybrid role, you'll handle recruitment, onboarding, and support of employees within this vibrant organization.

As an HR Officer with an 18-month duration, you will work closely with the Community Leader and program leaders to facilitate training, development, and integration of new hires. Your focus on building relationships will help nurture the skills of individuals in a supportive environment that values inclusion and dignity. Your expertise will aid in maintaining compliance with employment legislation necessary for our mission.

Key Responsibilities:

• Recruit Canadian and International employees in line with policies

• Manage ongoing recruitment and selection processes

• Handle all HR-related activities including payroll

• Welcome incoming employees while ensuring smooth transitions

• Develop training schedules for skill enhancement

Requirements:

• Fluent in English, spoken and written

• Post-secondary degree in Human Resources or related experience

• Clean police check with vulnerable sector screening

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

• Experience in designing inclusive hiring processes
