As part of the Public Works Department, you'll perform installations, inspections, and troubleshooting for both residential and commercial water meters. Your efforts will directly impact the accurate measurement of water consumption while aiding community infrastructure and service needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install and maintain water meters in the municipal network
• Conduct accurate meter readings and resolve related issues
• Support general maintenance of water and wastewater systems
• Maintain accurate documentation and inventory management
• Operate municipal tools and contribute to seasonal work
Requirements:
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Strong mechanical aptitude for equipment management
• Class 5 Driver's License valid in Nova Scotia
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
• Commitment to safety protocols and regulations
