Administrative Assistant - Bilingual

Holy Cross Cemetery & Funeral Center - Antioch, CA

The Administrative Assistant - Bilingual is a high visible position for all that visit Holy Cross Cemetery and will interact with families, staff, and service providers while reporting to the Location Manager. You will have to multi-task in a busy work setting, welcome visitors, answer multiple phone lines, and perform all clerical and administrative duties. As our Administrative Assistant - Bilingual, you will conduct yourself with a “Family First” approach, demonstrating by example CFCS' Core Values–Share the Journey, Serve with Care, and Make It Happen–in all dealings with families, staff, and internal/external contacts.

Responsibilities
  • Act in a courteous, professional, and customer‑focused manner
  • Strong time management skills and able to meet tight deadlines
  • Process work and burial permits within compliance, in a timely and concise manner
  • Independent to resolve issues
  • Coordinate with many internal departments and external providers
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Familiar with principles and processes for serving customers
  • Knowledge of the Catholic faith, rituals, and traditions
  • Understand the Order of Christian Funerals
Qualifications
  • Bilingual: Fluent Spanish
  • Proficient with MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • High School diploma/GED
  • College degree a plus and/or 2‑4 years of experience in an office environment
  • Must have a Valid Driver's License
  • Must pass Background Check
  • Ability to lift or move objects weighing between 25-30lbs.
