Job Overview
Unit: CSEA Work Hours/ Work Years: 2 to 4 hours per day (10 Months - Student Days Only). CSEA SALARY RANGE:
Step A $24.88, Step B $26.14, Step C $27.47, Step D $28.86, Step E $30.32, Step F $31.85. Final date to receive applications: MONDAY, JULY 13, 2026, by 4:30 p.m. Promotional/Open:
The promotional group as well as the public may apply. The promotional side of the eligibility list shall take precedence when certifying eligibles.
EDUCATION/
EXPERIENCE:
Any combination equivalent to graduation from high school or equivalent; experience working with children in an educational or child‑care setting; or any combination of training and experience that could likely provide the desired knowledge and abilities. Read, write and speak proficiently in both English and Spanish languages.
SELECTION & EXAMINATIONS:
The selection process will consist of an application and supplemental screening for completeness and qualifications. A written exam that meets the “Every Student Succeeds Act” requirement (weighted 40%) and an oral interview exam (weighted 60%) will be conducted. A passing score must be achieved on each portion of the exams. The dates of the exams are to be determined. Final selection will be made from those who achieve the three highest ranking scores.
