Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Special Education Teacher to provide specialized instruction and support to students in an SDC Mild/Moderate classroom serving elementary through middle school students.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized academic instruction based on student IEP goals and needs.
• Develop and implement IEPs and monitor student progress.
• Adapt curriculum and instructional materials as needed.
• Support students with academic, behavioral, social, and functional needs.
• Maintain a positive and structured classroom environment.
• Collaborate with school staff, related service providers, paraprofessionals, and families.
• Participate in IEP meetings and maintain required documentation.

Qualifications

• *
  * Active California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) credential required.**
• *
  * California Education Specialist Credential – Mild to Moderate Support Needs required.**
• *
  * CTC-credentialed applicants only.**
• Experience working with elementary through middle school students preferred.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with the school team.
