The Resident Engineer plans and assigns work for field personnel while overseeing construction processes and materials testing. They resolve daily disputes between clients and contractors and lead construction meetings to ensure project objectives are met.
Requirements:Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in an engineering-related field and a Professional Engineer (PE) license in California. A minimum of 12 years of relevant experience is required, including 5 years specifically on Caltrans highway improvement projects.
