The Staff Nurse II Float is a professional caregiver responsible for providing care to patients through the nursing process and collaboration with the healthcare team. This role is ideal for experienced nurses who are adaptable and skilled in various patient care settings.

• Perform assessment/data collection focusing on various patient statuses.
• Formulate a goal-directed plan of care.
• Implement care consistently and thoroughly.
• Establish priorities for patient care based on needs and resources.
• Identify and address patient/family learning needs.
• Demonstrate awareness of patient/family rights and cultural beliefs.
• Provide and coordinate care for patient populations.
• Establish effective working relationships with healthcare team members.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by the healthcare team.
• Participate in staff development activities for unit and department personnel.

Education:

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required

Experience:

• 3+ years of experience as a Staff Nurse
• 1 year recent experience in an acute care Adult Services critical care unit or completion of a KP training program

Licenses &

Certifications:

• Current RN License in California
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
