American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab RN with 5 years of experience and a CA RN license for a 13-week day shift assignment.

• Work in the Cath Lab, including Diagnostic, Interventional, and Electrophysiology (EP) settings
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours (07:00-15:30)
• Weekend coverage as needed based on unit needs
• On-call responsibilities as needed based on census
• Uses any charting/EMR system

• Active CA RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required; CCI RCES required, CCI RCIS preferred
• Minimum 5 years of relevant RN experience required
• Community Hospital and LTAC experience required
• Teaching Hospital and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred
• Prior Charge RN experience preferred
• Previous travel assignment experience required
• Skilled in cath lab and EP procedures such as PCI, TAVR, Watchman, pacemaker/AICD insertion, and vascular closure
• Experience with hemodynamic monitoring, procedural sedation, and dysrhythmia management
• Proficient in IV therapy, central line management, and blood product administration

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures
• Assist with pre- and post-procedure patient care and monitoring
• Provide circulating and scrub support for cardiac, vascular, and neurological procedures
• Administer and monitor procedural sedation and emergency medications
• Maintain infection prevention and radiation safety protocols
• Local candidates accepted at local rate within a 50-mile radius
• Returning staff must have a one-year separation before returning as a traveler
• Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract, with only one holiday request approved
• Holiday coverage required for New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas
• First-time travelers may be considered for this role
