Tactical Security Guard - Loss Prevention

Overview

Garda World Security Services is Now Hiring a Tactical Security Guard – Loss Prevention. This role involves patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, and detention centers, reading and reporting on activity, and responding quickly to incidents.

• You observe, survey the area and provide reporting on activity at your assigned location.
• You patrol indoor and outdoor environments and adapt to variable conditions.
• You provide rapid response in critical situations.
• You read and write detailed reports accurately.
• You enforce customer procedures, regulations and standards as appropriate.
• You patrol sensitive areas to spot suspicious activity and deter threats.
• You detain and search when necessary and document incidents and actions taken.
• You respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks.
• You collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents and ensure the safety of individuals and property.

• You have a state security license and additional 32-hour BSIS security trainings (additional trainings can be obtained during the hiring process).
• You can provide documentation of a High School Diploma or GED.
• You are authorized to work in the United States.
• Minimum five years of security experience.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Must have baton permit, OC spray permit, and handcuff permit.
• Candidates with current or former military or law enforcement experience are encouraged to apply.
• First aid certification is an asset.
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift.
• Experience in Security, Military, or Law Enforcement is preferred.

• Schedule:
  
  Full time, 32 hours per week
• Friday / Saturday, 3:30pm – 12:00am;
  Sunday / Monday, 3:45pm – 12:15am
• Competitive hourly wage of $33/hour. Daily Pay is available for Garda World employees.
