Essential duties and responsibilities assist the principal with clerical tasks including, but not limited to, word processing, document creation and appointment scheduling. Assist building administration with necessary clerical tasks. Assist head secretary in the successful operation of the school office. Greet and assist school visitors; this includes following appropriate school and district procedures regarding visitors. Assist in the distribution of parent, student and staff communications including report cards, test results, newsletters and spring registration packets.
Answer the telephone and provide accurate information and/or route calls or messages to the appropriate school employee. Assist in ordering and inventory management of school office supplies. Assist with the scheduling and other tasks related to building events. Perform other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit. Assist student within the school setting-behaviorally, emotionally and academically.
Provide supervision to students in nonacademic settings. Qualifications high school diploma or equivalent. Starting hourly range: $17.15. Full time positions include benefits per the ASP contract which can be found at:
