We are a retail and whole sale Bakery. Operating from a 40,000 sq ft flagship production facility with two retail locations, we are entering an exciting growth phase and seeking a leader who can help scale both operations and revenue.
Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly motivated and energetic, hands‑on Retail Operations & Growth Manager to lead day‑to‑day retail performance across two bakery locations while driving new business growth through marketing, wholesale outreach, and community engagement.
This is a leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, can lead teams, improve systems, and generate sales. You’ll directly influence store profitability, customer experience, staff culture, and brand growth. We need someone who will just say "I can handle it from here".

Key Responsibilities 1. Retail Operations Leadership- Oversee daily operations of two bakery retail locations
- Ensure consistent customer experience, service standards, cleanliness, and product presentation
- Monitor sales, labor costs, waste, and retail KPIS
- Manage scheduling, staffing, opening/closing procedures, and store readiness
- Maintain strong merchandising and store visual appeal
- Hire, train, coach, and develop front‑of‑house retail teams
- Build a culture of urgency, accountability, hospitality, and pride
- Hold staff accountable to performance expectations
- Create efficient schedules based on traffic and labor goals
- Develop promotions, seasonal campaigns, product launches, and events
- Manage bakery social media presence (Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok)
- Manage our Door Dash and Uber Eats accounts
- Coordinate email marketing campaigns and customer retention efforts
- Improve online reputation through Google Business / Yelp presence
- Analyze marketing ROI and adjust strategies based on results
- Prospect and develop wholesale accounts with cafés, restaurants, grocers, and local businesses
- Build catering relationships with schools, hospitals, corporate offices, and events
- Represent the bakery in the community through networking and partnerships
- Act as liaison between outside accounts and internal production teams
- Forecast product demand based on trends, seasonality, and promotions
- Coordinate with bakery production team to ensure product availability
- Reduce waste and improve inventory accuracy
- Improve SOPs, systems, and efficiencies across both stores
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and SQF standards
- Identify opportunities to improve margins and streamline operations
- 3+ years management experience in bakery, restaurant, retail, hospitality, or food service
- Experience leading teams and owning P&L results
- Marketing, sales, or business development experience preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Comfortable working on the floor, in the community, and behind a desk
- Self‑starter who solves problems without constant supervision
- Huge plus: bakery experience or SQF knowledge

- Competitive Base Salary: $60,000–$80,000 (depending on experience)
