Bioanalytical Scientist/Lab Technician
We are seeking a Bioanalytical Scientist/Lab Technician to join our Science and Technology team. The successful candidate will perform both routine and non-routine analyses, as well as formulation work. This position requires experience in bioanalytical and physical testing, particularly in the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on HPLC and related techniques.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project leads on various projects, ensuring reliable and consistent results through routine and non-routine analysis.
- Troubleshoot experiments and instrumentation as needed.
- Maintain and organize the laboratory environment.
- Conduct routine testing and document experiments using an electronic notebook (eLN).
- Learn and apply new experimental techniques.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable policies and procedures, including SOPs, cGMPs, and safety standards.
Education Qualification
- BS or MS in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biology, Molecular Biology, or a related science field.
- Theoretical and practical knowledge to effectively perform job functions.
Required Skills
- Strong background in general science, particularly in Chemistry and Biology.
- Proficiency in general laboratory skills, including pipetting, weighing, and solution preparation.
- Experience with bioanalytical methods and HPLC.
- Familiarity with Empower software.
- Knowledge of particle sizing/testing techniques, force testing, UV/IR/Fluorescence spectroscopy, and basic sampling practices is a plus.
- Basic computer skills.
Additional Information
- This is an on-site position with approximately 80% lab activities and 20% stationary activities.
- The role operates in a GLP environment, working closely with a supervisor and interfacing with the technical team.
- The assignment is initially set for 12 months, with potential for extension based on performance and departmental needs.
- Work schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day. - Local candidates only; relocation is not supported.

Payrate- $20/hr to $25/hr
