Night Shift Maintenance Technician

This Night Shift Maintenance Technician role puts you hands on with equipment ranging from vintage manual converting machines to modern computerized lines. You will train directly under a senior technician, and your ideas on improving uptime will actually be heard.

This family owned manufacturer has been around since 1972 and is now in its third generation. The plant makes specialty bags, wraps, and liners for the food service industry.

Work a four day week with no weekends, and learn side by side with a senior technician who will invest in your growth. There is a clear path to advance through multiple technician levels, and the owner works onsite and talks shop with the maintenance team regularly.

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities
  • Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment to quality, safety, and food safety standards
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment issues
  • Troubleshoot equipment failures quickly to minimize production downtime
  • Complete work orders, maintain parts inventory, and keep accurate repair records
  • Support equipment installations, improvements, and continuous improvement projects
Schedule
  • Monday-Thursday, 8:00pm-6:30am
  • Fridays as needed
  • No weekend work
  • Overtime is mostly voluntary
Compensation

$27-40/hr, based on experience

Maintenance Technician Qualifications
  • 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals
  • Safety focused, dependable, and team oriented mindset
  • Experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, or converting equipment is preferred
