Overview

Job Title:
Equipment Clerk

Location: Apache Junction, AZ

Job Summary: Coordinate clerical and secretarial support services including the direction of administrative duties for equipment department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and supervise clerical/secretarial support function for assigned group.
  • Compose and/or edit letters, memos, reports, procedures, etc., as required.
  • Act as liaison between own group/supervisor and others, such as other departments, external contacts, clients, etc. Must arrange meetings, clarify and resolve problems, coordinate work, maintain relationships, and handle public relations.
  • Oversee and/or process day‑to‑day administrative items (i.e., expense reports, supply requisitions, personnel transaction forms, operating budgets, etc.) per supervisor’s authorization.
  • Prepare special reports, studies, statistical analysis, brochures, etc. per supervisor’s request. These items usually require research, development, and/or interpretation of data and are performed with little supervision or instruction.
  • May interpret and administer a company policy, program or procedure requiring independent decision making.
Qualifications
  • 4 years of business or technical degree or related job experience.
  • 2 years administrative experience or equivalent training.
  • Working knowledge of general office procedures.
  • Ability to organize and coordinate group work efforts.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Basic knowledge of construction industry.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Ability to work toward and reach deadlines.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
