Senior Project Manager – Heavy Civil – Structures & DOT Projects
Location: Arizona
Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year (DOE)

Job SummaryAs a Senior Project Manager at WW Clyde, you will oversee heavy civil construction projects involving concrete structures and Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). infrastructure from start to finish. You will lead the project team through initial planning, budgeting, and scheduling, then drive execution and successful completion of projects such as highways, bridges, and other large concrete structural works. You are accountable for ensuring each project is delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Project Planning & Scheduling – develop comprehensive project plans and construction schedules.
- Financial Management – manage budgets, forecast costs, control expenditures, track financial performance, approve invoices and change orders.
- Team Leadership – mentor, motivate, foster safety and accountability.
- Subcontractor & Vendor Coordination – select, negotiate subcontracts, manage performance, align work with specifications.
- Contract Administration – prepare, submit, track RFIs, submittals, change orders.
- Safety & Environmental Compliance – enforce safety program, comply with OSHA and environmental regulations.
- Quality Control – oversee quality assurance plans for concrete work.
- Client & Stakeholder Relations – primary contact, status updates, professional relationship management.
- Problem Solving & Risk Management – identify risks, develop mitigation, solve problems efficiently.
- Project Closeout – oversee inspections, punch lists, as-built documentation, handover.
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. - Experience:
Minimum 6 years in construction, at least 3 years in project management on heavy civil projects; experience with concrete structures and DOT projects highly preferred. - Project Expertise:
Proven track record in heavy civil construction (highways, bridges, concrete infrastructure) from start to finish. - Technical
Skills:
Proficiency in scheduling software (Primavera P6, Microsoft Project), project platforms (Procore), MS Office. - Construction Knowledge:
Understanding of construction methods, civil engineering principles, blueprints and technical drawings. - Leadership & Communication:
Excellent team management, strong verbal and written communication. - Problem‑Solving:
Sharp analytical skills, capacity to adapt in fast‑paced environments. - Commitment to Safety:
Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations, strong safety record. - Other:
Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record; ability to travel throughout Arizona.
