Part Time;
Flexibility needed Monday – Friday 8:40am – 6:15pm;
Rotating Saturdays 8:40am – 2:15pm

Starting pay: $17.50 per hour with potential increases based on experience.

Additional $2.00 per hour location allowance and $1.00 for assisting in Spanish.

• Member Focus: Provides exceptional member service, assesses member needs, advises and assists with transactions such as opening new accounts, servicing existing accounts, and explaining products and services. Cross‑sell products and services and maintain member satisfaction and account retention to meet sales and service goals.
• Branch Operations: Maintains cash drawer, initiates wire transfers, cashier’s checks, and cash advances, creates VISA cards, opens and processes IRA transactions, certificates of deposit, and redeem savings bonds. Uses judgement for check holds, issue fee reversals, processes fraud disputes and ensures accurate transaction processing per policies. Assists in opening and closing procedures and manages branch security.
• Other Responsibilities: Represents the credit union professionally, keeps work area clean, responds to email/voicemail, undertakes product knowledge courses, travels as required, complies with regulations, performs additional duties as assigned.

• Proficient computer operating skills, understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Strong communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Effective counseling and cross‑selling capabilities.
• Financial calculation skills and knowledge of credit union policies and regulations.

At least six months of customer service experience. Industry experience preferred.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Valid driver’s license required.

Required training within first 90 days includes MSR onboarding, Branch Foundations, Teller Branch Checklist, Products & Services Teller, Follow‑up Training, and Computer/Office Equipment skills.

No supervisory or managerial responsibilities.

• Thorough knowledge of credit union policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Ability to identify lending opportunities and make recommendations.
• Capacity to perform financial calculations accurately.

Must be able to talk, hear, sit, use hands, stand, walk, kneel, and reach consistently. Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds consistently and up to 50 pounds occasionally. Must have close vision at 20 inches or less and distance vision at 20 feet or more.

No unusual environmental factors. Moderate noise in a business office with computers, printers, light traffic.
