- Collaborative environment & modern office setting
- Perform hygiene clinical procedures, including oral prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, sealants, fluoride, oral cancer screenings and x‑rays.
- Educate patients on the importance of oral hygiene, as well as instructions and demonstrations of effective oral hygiene methods.
- Communicate with the doctor where there are opportunities in patients for restorative and/or periodontal needs.
- Obtain and review dental history and/or records from patient (review patient health history and care slips) and ensure health history is updated for all returning patients.
- Degree or certificate in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program and a valid state license.
- X‑ray/Radiology Certification where state regulations specify.
- Local Anesthesia/Nitrous Oxide certification where state regulations specify.

Working Environment &Physical Requirements
This is a clinical working environment where potential exposure to hazardous waste and blood‑borne pathogens is possible. Requires prolonged periods of standing, sitting, leaning, and bending up to 8 hours a day. Will be required to carry, transport, and use tools and equipment. Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
