School House Staffing is hiring a passionate, student-centered Math Teacher for one of our partner school districts in the East Valley. We're looking for an educator who brings strong content knowledge, high expectations, and a love of problem-solving to the classroom — and who can make math click for every learner.

• Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom where every student can succeed
• Deliver high-quality, standards-aligned math instruction using research-based best practices
• Develop lesson plans and materials that adapt curriculum to the needs of diverse learners
• Communicate clear learning goals in precise, student-friendly language
• Facilitate small- and large-group instruction that builds reasoning, critical thinking, and problem-solving
• Integrate technology to deepen understanding and boost engagement
• Use a variety of assessments to measure and accelerate student growth
• Use site, district, and state assessment data to drive instruction and placement decisions
• Implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) with fidelity
• Communicate regularly with families to strengthen the home‑school partnership
• Participate in team reviews and intervention planning for at‑risk or struggling students
• Maintain accurate records, supervise students, and take part in school events and professional learning

• Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s preferred) from an accredited institution
• Valid Arizona Teaching Certificate in the appropriate content area
• Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
• SEI Endorsement preferred
• Strong math content knowledge and a command of standards-aligned, inquiry-based instruction
• Ability to build trust, communicate with empathy, and maintain strong relationships
• Skill in creating structured, engaging, developmentally appropriate learning environments
• Commitment to inclusive practices and meeting diverse learner needs
• Emotional intelligence, patience, and calm leadership in a dynamic classroom
• A drive for continuous learning and professional growth
