Assist in patient education regarding adequacy measures (OLC, AMP, UKM) and disease process.;
Evaluate vascular access patency, perform cannulation, and administer heparin as delegated.;
Initiate and monitor dialysis treatment, adjust QB and QD, and manage intradialytic problems.;
Record vital signs, treatment parameters, and complete Hemodialysis Treatment Sheet; report changes to RN.;
Maintain infection control practices and prepare specimens, supplies, and equipment; participate in CQI activities.
