Are you an experienced recruiter who enjoys building relationships with leaders, using data to drive results, and finding great talent? Horizon Health and Wellness is seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Human Resources team.

This is an opportunity for an experienced talent acquisition professional to take ownership of full-cycle recruiting while serving as a trusted partner to leaders across the agency. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, comfortable working with recruiting metrics and Excel, and passionate about creating an excellent experience for candidates and hiring managers. This position is hybrid and located in Apache Junction, Arizona.

As our Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will:

Manage full-cycle recruitment from requisition through accepted offer and onboarding handoff.

Partner directly with leaders and hiring managers across the agency to understand current and future staffing needs.

Develop recruiting and sourcing strategies for high-priority and difficult-to-fill positions.

Source candidates through job boards, professional networks, social media, employee referrals, career fairs, community partnerships, and other recruiting channels.

Screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and provide recommendations and guidance to hiring managers throughout the selection process.

Build strong talent pipelines for frequently recruited and critical positions.

Serve as a trusted talent acquisition partner by advising leaders on recruiting strategies, candidate availability, labor market conditions, and hiring challenges.

Conduct regular staffing discussions with leaders to review vacancies, aging requisitions, recruiting priorities, and hiring progress.

Create and maintain recruitment reports using Microsoft Excel.

Track and analyze key recruiting metrics such as open positions, time-to-fill, time-to-hire, aging requisitions, candidate pipeline activity, offer acceptance rates, source effectiveness, and hiring activity.

Use Excel formulas, pivot tables, charts, filters, and other tools to analyze recruiting data and identify trends.

Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly talent acquisition reporting for HR and agency leadership.

Use recruitment data to identify concerns and recommend strategies to improve hiring results.

Identify opportunities to streamline recruiting processes and improve the candidate and hiring manager experience.

Represent Horizon Health and Wellness at career fairs, community events, schools, and other recruiting activities.

Maintain accurate recruitment documentation and ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and agency policies.

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field preferred. Equivalent relevant experience may be considered.

Minimum of five years of progressive talent acquisition or recruiting experience.

Demonstrated experience managing full-cycle recruitment for multiple positions simultaneously.

Experience partnering directly with hiring managers and organizational leaders.

Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience creating reports, analyzing data, and presenting recruitment metrics.

Experience using applicant tracking systems, HRIS platforms, job boards, and candidate sourcing tools.

Strong knowledge of recruiting practices, interviewing techniques, and applicable employment laws.

Excellent communication, relationship-building, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and maintain confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications Experience recruiting within behavioral health, healthcare, social services, nonprofit, or other high-volume service environments is preferred.

Experience recruiting clinical, behavioral health, leadership, and difficult-to-fill positions is also highly desirable.

SHRM-CP, PHR, AIRS, or another relevant HR or talent acquisition certification is a plus.
