Our Maintenance Coordinators help to maintain the overall cleanliness and aesthetic of the facilities by performing a wide range of maintenance tasks.
What You'll Accomplish- Ensuring and maintaining the cleanliness of the community facilities and grounds
- Performing maintenance work to include plumbing, electrical, minor carpentry, and general repairs
- Cleaning in common areas
- Assisting with lifestyle events including event set‑up, break‑down and clean‑up
- Completing minor maintenance and repairs
- Operating a wide variety of light equipment and machinery
- Performing a variety of labor intensive work
- Knowledge and proficiency gained through training and experience in the maintenance field
- A team player who takes pride in their responsibilities and the facilities they oversee
- Excellent communication skills
- Organization, efficiency and the ability to exercise good judgement
- Ability to communicate with managers, residents and peers in a positive and effective way
- Physically able to move a variety of tools / cleaning equipment and lift up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable working both inside / outside and in various weather conditions
- Flexibility to work before and after storms for preparation and clean‑up
- Entry level computer skills including Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Valid driver’s license and liability insurance
- Must pass a pre‑employment drug screen, background check, and physical
If driving is required, you must hold a valid state driver’s license for the class of vehicle you are driving, maintain a clean motor vehicle report, and hold current automobile insurance at statutory limits. Notify Human Resources immediately regarding any change to your motor vehicle standing. CCMC may periodically review motor vehicle reports to ensure compliance with these requirements.
Physical Requirements- Mobility:
Ability to walk the grounds long distances in various weather conditions. - Lifting and Carrying:
Occasionally lifting and carrying supplies or equipment up to 25 pounds. - Extended Sitting or Standing:
Capability to sit or stand for extended periods during meetings or events. - Manual Dexterity:
Skills in using technology, including computers and mobile devices. - Driving:
Ability to operate vehicle to perform certain job functions. (MVR reviewed at hire and periodically thereafter.)
