Salary Range: $17.00 To $25.00 Hourly

About the Role:

As a Shop Worker/Machine Operator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our commercial cabinet shop. Your primary focus will be on cabinet manufacturing/machine operations, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the shop, and supporting daily operational tasks. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work collaboratively with team members to meet goals.

Ultimately, your efforts will contribute to creating a quality product that encourages customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Read and understand cut lists and prints.
• General use of carpentry tools.
• Problem solving.
• Organizational skills
• Team player.
• Basic math skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting (50 lbs) and stocking.
• Reliable transportation.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities:

• Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely.
• Perform sanding, fitting and prep work for finishing.
• Ensure all work meets quality standards and specifications.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production targets.

Skills:

The required skills such as communication and basic math are essential. Physical stamina and organizational skills are used to build cabinets, maintain the shop’s cleanliness, and manage inventory efficiently. Overall, these skills combine to support the operational success of the shop.
