Job DescriptionIn the context of the care project and in respect of the rights and freedoms of individuals, the care assistant must:
- Ensure the well-being of residents
- Know emergency protocols and lists of contact numbers
- Understand technical protocols
- Assist with residents' bedtime
- Ensure resident safety
- Maintain the resident's immediate environment
Guarantee the safety of the elderly in their environment:
- Be a reassuring presence at all times
- Stay informed about the health status of residents (transmissions)
- Secure building access
- Prepare and ensure residents' sleep
- Be immediately available in case of a resident's call
- Implement emergency protocols
- Inform management of any significant events: technical malfunction, fire, elopement, etc.
Ensure continuity of care and comfort for elderly individuals:
- In pairs with a social agent (A.S.H.)
- Distribute medications prepared by the nurse
- Perform care and positioning according to prescription and/or protocol
- Monitor behavioral disorders and record them
- Ensure hydration and nutrition
- Perform changes
- Respond to all resident requests
- Participate in training and meetings
- Transmit all resident information to the relief team

• Use handling techniques and safety rules for installation and mobilization of the person

• Holder of the state diploma of nursing assistant – Level V diploma (CAFAS or DEFAS (A.S.))
• Holder of the diploma of medical and psychological assistance – Level V diploma – DEAMP (A.M.P.)
