City of Apache Junction is looking for a dedicated Animal Control Worker to perform routine animal care and maintenance duties. This includes cleaning enclosures, feeding animals, and assisting with medical care. The ideal candidate must possess a high school diploma or GED and will be responsible for developing safe environments for animals and the public.
You will also provide clerical support to the Animal Control office and must be able to remain calm in stressful situations. The role requires strong communication skills and knowledge of basic animal care practices, with certification from the National Animal Control Association required within a year.
