The Pipe Layer will assemble, install, and replace pipe systems and related components, including metal, plastic, ceramic, and composite materials; install plumbing fixtures.

- Assembles and installs piping and tubing systems that conduct water, steam, air, and other fluids, solids, or gases in and around buildings and structures.
- Installs vacuum piping systems, drainage and sewage lines (laterals) from buildings to the point of attachment.
- Handles and moves materials and equipment to be used by plumbers, pipe fitters, and steamfitters.
- 3-5 years verifiable experience preferred.
- Experience working with piping systems and fixtures; adequate knowledge of lengths and construction measurements for use of tools and machinery.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; may be required to work in adverse weather conditions.
- Requires the ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures; communicate effectively with co‑workers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed properly.
- Possesses a strong work ethic and desire to learn.
- Requires good manual dexterity; may be standing, bending, kneeling, or sitting for long periods.
- Must be able to pass a pre‑employment drug screening.
