Pipe Layer

OVERVIEW

Archer Western Construction is currently seeking a Pipe Layer for the Apache Junction Sewer District-WRF Expansion Project CMAR in Apache Junction, AZ. The Pipefitter will assemble, install, and replace pipe systems and related portions including metal, plastic, ceramic, and composition; install plumbing fixtures.

• Assembles, and installs piping and tubing systems that conduct water, steam, air, and other fluids, solids, or gases in and around buildings and structures.
• Installs vacuum piping systems, drainage and sewage lines (laterals) from buildings to the point of attachment.
• Handles and moves materials and equipment to be used by plumbers, pipe fitters, and steamfitters.

• 3-5 years of verifiable experience.
• Preferred experience working with piping systems and fixtures; adequate knowledge of lengths and construction measurements for use of tools and machinery.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; may be required to work in adverse weather conditions.
• Requires the ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures; communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed properly.
• Possesses a strong work ethic and desire to learn.
• Requires good manual dexterity; may be standing, bending, kneeling, or sitting for long periods.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.

Archer Western Construction está buscando actualmente un Instalador de Tuberías para el Apache Junction Sewer District-WRF Expansion Project CMAR, en la Cuidad de Apache Junction, AZ. El Instalador de Tuberías ensamblará, instalará y reemplazará los sistemas de tuberías y partes relacionadas, incluyendo metal, plástico, cerámica y composición; instalando accesorios de plomería.

• 3-5 años de experiencia verificable.
• Experiencia trabajando con sistemas de tuberías y accesorios; conocimiento adecuado de longitudes y medidas de construcción para el uso de herramientas y maquinaria.
• Debe estar de pie, agachado, arrodillado o sentado durante largos períodos; debe poder levantar hasta 50 libras; puede requerir trabajar en varias condiciones climáticas.
• Requiere la capacidad de cumplir con todas las políticas y procedimientos de seguridad; comunicarse efectivamente con compañeros de trabajo y supervisor es para asegurar que los proyectos se completen adecuadamente.
