Job Overview

Archer Western Construction seeks a Pipe Layer for the Apache Junction Sewer District-WRF Expansion Project CMAR in Apache Junction, AZ.

The role involves installing and replacing pipe systems made of metal, plastic, ceramic, and composition, as well as installing plumbing fixtures.

• Assemble, install, and replace pipe systems that conduct water, steam, air, and other fluids, solids, or gases in and around buildings and structures.
• Install vacuum piping systems, drainage and sewage lines (laterals) from buildings to the point of attachment.
• Handle and move materials and equipment for plumbing, pipefitting, and steamfitting work.

• 3-5 years of verifiable experience preferred.
• Experience working with pipe systems and fixtures; knowledge of lengths and construction measurements for tool and machinery use.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. May need to work in adverse weather conditions.
• Ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures.
• Strong work ethic and desire to learn.
• Good manual dexterity. May be standing, bending, kneeling or sitting for long periods.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.

• 3-5 años de experiencia verificable preferida.
• Experiencia trabajando con sistemas de tuberías y accesorios; conocimiento adecuado de longitudes y medidas de construcción para el uso de herramientas y maquinaria.
• Se requiere estar de pie, agachado, arrodillado o sentado durante largos períodos.
• Debe poder levantar hasta 50 libras; puede requerir trabajar en varias condiciones climáticas.
• Requiere cumplimiento de todas las políticas y procedimientos de seguridad; comunicación efectiva con compañeros y supervisores.
• Poseer una fuerte ética de trabajo y ganas de aprender.
