Welder Helper

Duties And Responsibilities

• Assist in selecting appropriate equipment for the job or project
• Assist in securing parts into position for welding
• Assist in the preparation of materials for welding
• Will assist in the setting up of equipment for the job
• Adhere to all rules and regulations at all times and wear proper safety equipment while on site
• Meet or exceed company safety standards
• Perform other job responsibilities as assigned by management

• Experience in an industrial construction environment

• Knowledge of workplace safety requirements and procedures
• A positive attitude, self‑motivated, eagerness to learn and a willingness to work hard every day
• An ability to lead by a positive example and a commitment to working as a team
• Attention and commitment to safety and an ability to follow instructions
• Valid Driver’s license and clean driving record if assigned to a company vehicle
• Ability to multi‑task and attention to detail
• Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner

• Must be able to accommodate customer needs by working flexible hours which may include weekends
• Exposure to extreme temperatures, noise, vibrations and a wet and or humid environment

• Requires walking, sitting, standing, lifting, pushing, pulling, kneeling, grasping, crouching, stooping reaching and repetitive motions to a significant degree
• Exerting up to 75 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently
