Business controller P&A

Position Overview

Business Controller P&A – 12‑month fixed‑term contract (full‑time) in Apeldoorn, Netherlands. Hybrid working arrangement. Reports to Head of Commercial Finance. Professional English required;
Dutch is an advantage.

• Analyze financial results, margins, and working capital on a monthly basis.
• Support and deliver the monthly closing process and financial control activities.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and latest estimates.
• Deliver weekly cash‑flow forecasts.
• Provide analysis related to margin performance, turnover mix, and cost control.
• Build business cases to support business initiatives and decision‑making.
• Ensure reporting requirements from Group and other stakeholders are delivered on time.
• Act as finance point of contact for business‑related questions.
• Participate in improvement projects, such as distribution cost optimization initiatives.
• Work closely with the Business Controller (Bikes) and provide backup support when required.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Economics, Finance, Accounting, Controlling, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of relevant work experience, including experience in business control.
• Strong understanding of General Ledger processes and financial reporting.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and month‑end closing procedures.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools.
• Knowledge of ERP systems and financial consolidation tools.
• Data‑driven mindset and strong analytical capabilities.
• Professional English communication skills, written and verbal.
• A team‑oriented mindset with a strong focus on collaboration.
