Position Overview

We are looking for a working Foreman to lead a field crew on commercial, industrial, public infrastructure, and subdivision projects. You will run the day-to-day work on site, manage people and equipment, and make sure the job is built safely, on time, and to plan.

What You Will Do
  • Lead and work with a crew to complete daily tasks on site.
  • Plan the work for your crew, including manpower, equipment, and materials.
  • Read plans and stakes and lay out work for equipment operators and laborers.
  • Check quality and production, and keep the job on schedule and within budget.
  • Complete daily reports and time sheets and turn them in on time.
  • Inspect equipment, request repairs, and enforce safe work practices and PPE use.
  • Train new employees on company rules, safety, and how to do the work.
  • Communicate with the Superintendent, Project Manager, inspectors, and customers as needed.
What We Need From You
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 3-5 years of experience leading construction crews on site work or utility projects.
  • Strong skills running heavy equipment used in civil construction.
  • Able to read and understand civil drawings, grades, and basic specifications.
  • Strong people skills, able to give clear direction and hold crews accountable.
  • Good communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Able to work outdoors in all weather and perform the physical tasks of the job.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to drive company trucks to job sites.
Schedule

4/10 workweek: four 10-hour days each week, with regular overtime required during peak periods and some Saturdays as needed.
